  I See Taiwan from its People and Culture   Abstract The five elements of Taiwan’s soft power, according to Taiwan’s former vice president Annette Lu, are human rights, democracy, peace, love and high technology. Adopting the term used for the 2014 final countdown fireworks at the tallest building of Taiwan, Taipei 101, and its sponsor, iSee Taiwan Foundation, I will lead the audience to see Taiwan from the hospitality of its people and the development of its cultural and technological industries.
